Position Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator ensures a strong safety culture, oversees maintenance scheduling, and manages work orders, vendor coordination, and data entry in the CMMS system. The role will also handle purchasing, budget tracking, inventory management, and tool control while supporting hiring efforts and performance monitoring. Additionally, the successful candidate will develop procedures, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide administrative support to the maintenance team.

Additionally, the successful candidate will develop procedures, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide administrative support to the maintenance team.
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong safety culture; understanding proper LOTO methodology, well versed in Risk Factor Elimination & Process Risk Assessment
- Routing of work orders to the maintenance technicians, coordinate daily tasks of maintenance technicians, and coordinate outside vendor (OSV) service calls, work with department heads to schedule planned and unplanned maintenance activities,
- Manage work order generation, routing, time entry, and completion utilizing (Fiix) CMMS system.
- Develop Work Instruction from information provided by technicians, and equipment manufacturers in CMMS System, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
- Submit requests for purchases and services, track approval progress, follow-up with key personnel to ensure expediency of order fulfillment, provide status updates to the maintenance team and department heads as required
- Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget
- Maintain tracking of inventory spares, OSV service parts, and in-process service parts
- Assist with interviewing and hiring maintenance personnel
- Monitor usage of maintenance tools and equipment, ensure serviceability (fit-for-use) and availability of required maintenance tools
- Track and report maintenance metrics to improve efficiency and reliability of staff and equipment
- Provide administrative support to maintenance managers and technicians
- 3–5 years of experience leading maintenance teams, coordinating work schedules, and overseeing maintenance operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within a maintenance setting.
- Be able to convey information clearly and concisely
- Be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; ability to change priority in a rapidly changing environment without losing the big picture
- Be meticulous and thorough in all tasks
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa
- Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check satisfactorily
- Proficient in using various MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proficient in the use of general office equipment and skilled at typing at a speed necessary for successful job performance
- Knowledge of communication principles and practices
- Knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and communicate effectively
- Ability to respond respectfully to requests and inquiries from customers and the general public
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner
- Ability to perform research, compile and analyze data, and write clear, concise and accurate reports
