Position Summary
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee the quality control throughout a project's life cycle. The Project Manager may be responsible for more than one project at a time.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate with leadership to define the scope of work for assigned projects and develop statements of work, work breakdown structures, task estimates, and specific tasks and milestones to implement customer or internal projects.
- Identify assumptions and constraints (technical, schedule, resource, and budget) for the project.
- Manage relationship with the customer and define expectations.
- Manage the project budget.
- Facilitate team and customer meetings.
- Communicate all pertinent information to the stakeholders.
- Understand pricing models and billing procedures.
- Provide feedback to project team on performance, provide input to performance appraisals.
- Monitor, control, and communicate to corporate management the status of customer and / or internal projects, with the attention to resource utilization, project costs, risk management, project profit margins, and the overall performance of assigned ProEnergy projects.
