Under the direction and supervision of the Startup Manager, the StartupTurnover Coordinator interfaces with construction on system turnover to meet commissioning schedules. The position is responsible for coordination completion of system turnover packages from acceptance by Startup and Commissioning to final turnover to client as required by contract.

Position Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Startup Manager, the StartupTurnover Coordinator interfaces with construction on system turnover to meet commissioning schedules. The position is responsible for coordination completion of system turnover packages from acceptance by Startup and Commissioning to final turnover to client as required by contract.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and maintain System Turnover Package(s).
- Scope project P&ID’s and Electrical One-lines.
- Walkdown systems with Construction and Client.
- Upon completion of the system walkdown, prepare and distribute the system punch list.
- Review System Turnover Packages with Startup Manager prior to acceptance from Construction and submittal to Client.
- Work with Construction QA/QC Supervisor in support of System Turnover Packages.
- Work shift work as required to support the Startup schedule.
- Support Startup Manager as required.
- Assist in performing mechanical testing on mechanical equipment/systems.
- Coordinate all punch list completion activities after Startup has accepted a system.
- Allocate test equipment to Startup Personnel, maintain the log, and report any damaged or missing equipment to the Sedalia office.
- Review/interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other design documents
- Ensuring turnover compliance with Client and company policies, procedures and standards.
- Providing weekly and monthly reports detailing the status of system completions.
- Interpreting and clarifying, when necessary, system scoping and numbering.
- Other responsibilities as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent GED. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of development projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft projects and/or Primavera and the Microsoft Office Suite of products and Adobe Pro.
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proven to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- The ideal candidate will be organized and excel at multitasking while being able to work effectively at performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of concentration.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Employee must be agreeable to work overtime and weekends as dictated by the Customer Project commitments and plans.
- Employee must be capable of climbing ladders, scaffolding and wearing fall protection.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player and learn quickly in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Technical background and/or work experience in EPC projects is considered an asset.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Proficient in the use of a variety of general office equipment and skilled at typing at a speed necessary for successful job performance.
