Our Proesis Raleigh team is looking to add a qualified, caring, and precise Phlebotomist (Donor Advocate) to our team. This role will be working on a team of other phlebotomists to perform venipuncture and additional phlebotomy procedures to carry out the plasma donation process. All phlebotomists in the center are expected to provide excellent customer service to donors and easily collaborate with other team members. This position reports directly to the center’s Production Lead team member and will be provided extensive onsite training. Requirements:Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide world-class customer care while adhering to all center SOPs.
- Perform venipuncture and additional phlebotomy procedures
- Collaborate with Leadership and colleagues to maintain efficient donor flow through the donation process from Screening through Disconnect.
- Collaborate with Medical team on all Donor Adverse Events to ensure adherence to all applicable SOPs
- Demonstrate our Core Values when interfacing with colleagues, donors, vendors, and all visitors to the Center
- Maintain professionalism in a highly dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred but not necessary
- Comfortable handling needles and other donation machine equipment
- Must be comfortable seeing and working with blood and blood components
- Exceptional customer service and genuine care for donors
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods for up to four (4) hours at a time.
- Ability to tug, lift, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Be able to bend, stoop or kneel and climb stairs or ladder.
- Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- Regularly required to stand; use hands to, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Must be able to enter a walk-in freezer with a temperature of -40 C for short periods.
- Specific vision and hearing abilities are required to be successful in the role
