Position Overview

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced and strategic Marketing Director to make a significant impact within our organization. This person will oversee all marketing activities and strategy execution for a well-established agricultural fencing installation company. As a key leader within our organization, you will focus on maximizing Return on Investment (ROI) of our marketing budget across digital, print, and social media channels.  

This part-time role offers a potential career path to a full-time position in the future. The position may be performed remotely or in person at ProFence LLC’s Shippensburg, PA main office. Key Responsibilities

·        Budget Management

o  Manage and allocate the annual marketing budget.

o  Continuously monitor and adjust spending and campaign performance to ensure optimal ROI.

o  Prepare regular reports highlighting spending efficiency and campaign effectiveness.

o  Strategically hire freelance specialists as needed.

·        SEO Strategy & Management

o  Collaborate with LaunchUX on a monthly basis to perform the following:

§ Routinely review and refine keyword strategies.

§ Monitor and improve click-through rates (CTR).

§ Track user engagement and site traffic to identify improvement opportunities.

o  Make data-driven recommendations to enhance organic visibility and website performance.

o  Optimize ProFence’s Google Business Profile listings.

·        Website Customer Experience

o  Monitor website design, traffic, and usability.

o  Collaborate with LaunchUX to implement key UX updates and upgrades as needed.

·        Google Ads Management

o  Partner with freelance consultant Daniel on a monthly basis to perform the following:

§ Identify and target high-potential geographic areas.

§ Develop and refine keyword strategies.

§ Review and optimize ad campaigns to enhance performance and maximize ROI.

·        Print Advertising Strategy

o  Routinely analyze and suggest target demographics for print campaigns.

o  Regularly assess print ad performance and recommend improvements to enhance targeting and outcomes.

·        Social Media Strategy & Oversight

o  Collaborate frequently with marketing specialist Abby to develop detailed analysis based on the following:

§ Review the performance of social media content.

§ Identify top-performing posts, themes, and visual content.

§ Recommend best social media platforms to use for each campaign, and tailor campaigns to each platform. Develop strategies for upcoming content topics, imagery, and platform-specific posts.

§ Initiate videography projects and video shorts for social platforms.

§ Plan advertising and lead generation strategies for all social channels.

o  Ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and marketing objectives.

·        Customer Insights, Competitor Activities, & Team Collaboration

o  Work closely with the Sales Director and sales team on a monthly basis on the following:

§ Gather customer feedback.

§ Identify emerging trends, customer concerns, and popular topics.

§ Attend sales meetings monthly

o  Integrate customer insights into marketing campaigns and messaging.

o  Analyze customer behavior and competitor activities to refine market strategies.

·        Brand Management and Marketing Collateral

o  Protect and ensure consistent use of the company logo and brand colors.

o  Maintain consistent branding across all channels.

o  Direct the design and use of marketing collateral and brand assets.

o  Develop innovative designs and incorporate technology into marketing materials and campaigns.

·        Trade Show Management

o  Evaluate trade shows (currently booked and potential) to strategize the best allocation of personnel and resources

o  Oversee show registrations, sign contracts, coordinate with show promoters and staff, and request fee payments.

o  Design trade show marketing strategies and oversee development and consistent use of booth designs and marketing collateral used at shows.

o  Attend trade shows several times each year for market research and customer engagement.

o  Manage delivery and storage of booth elements, oversee show setup crews and other ProFence personnel in attendance, and facilitate other onsite reservations (hotels, etc.) for colleagues.


·        Branded Apparel & Online Store Management

o  Oversee branded apparel initiatives.

o  Manage online shops.



Required Skills & Qualifications

·        Proven experience (3–5 years) in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a track record of achieving measurable results in fast-paced environments. 

·        Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple complex processes effectively. 

·        Ability to analyze data and make informed, strategic decisions.

·        Ability to take initiative and responsibility; to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Strong budget management and ROI tracking capabilities.

·        Expertise in SEO, Google Ads, and social media marketing.

·        Experience in print advertising strategies.

·        Excellent communication, collaboration, customer service, and leadership skills for managing teams and projects, building relationships with stakeholders, and fostering collaboration across the company and in the community. 

·        Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Creative, etc.).

·        Faithfully practice servant leadership; fully embrace and live out ProFence LLC’s vision, core values, and ethics.

Pay and Benefits: 

·        Part-time role of 25 hours/week.

·        Competitive pay [$40,000 - $80,000 per year] is based on experience and performance, with potential bonuses tied to company success.
