The Director of Ticket Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of PBR’s ticketing operations, ensuring seamless execution, fulfillment, and distribution of tickets across all events. This role is critical in developing and implementing efficient ticketing strategies that enhance the overall fan experience while maximizing revenue. The Director will work closely with internal departments, venue partners, and third-party ticketing providers to ensure best practices are followed in sales, inventory management, pricing, reporting, and customer service.
This position requires a detail-oriented leader with a strong understanding of ticketing platforms, analytics, and industry trends. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Reporting to the Vice President, Ticket Sales and Service, the Director of Ticket Operations will play a key role in streamlining processes, improving efficiencies, and driving innovation in PBR’s ticketing ecosystem.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all internal ticket operations, including event builds, ticketing software management, custom reporting, dynamic pricing, PBRewards, consignment ticket sales, and rider/sponsor obligations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage settlements with venue box offices.
- Train and support internal teams on ticketing software capabilities, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the PBR Marketing team and venue box offices to develop accurate ticket scaling, build events in PBR’s internal ticketing system (Archtics), and allocate appropriate inventory for internal processing.
- Partner with the PBR Sponsorship team to fulfill ticket obligations and implement streamlined procedures for fulfillment.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise direct reports, fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Implement and oversee complimentary ticketing processes for all events.
- Provide customer service support as needed, ensuring a high level of service for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics required
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying priorities
- Knowledge of box office practices and procedures with the ability to identify and implement new processes
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Management/Supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
Education & Formal Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration, Business Administration, and/or Marketing – preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional ticketing experience, preferably in the sports and entertainment industry.
Working Conditions:
- Location: Fort Worth, TX
- Normal office hours Monday-Friday
- Weekends, extended hours, and travel may be required
- Travel for business purposes as needed
