Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe completion of construction and maintenance projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including cranes, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, water trucks, and backhoes.
• Perform digging and excavation tasks with precision and attention to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and complete projects on schedule.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while operating machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

Experience

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as cranes, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, Caterpillar equipment, water trucks, and backhoes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Previous commercial driving experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
• A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
