Job Description
The Sales Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team, ensuring efficient order processing, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative assistance. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role. The Sales Administrator should have excellent communication skills and be proficient in MS Office Suite. A background in sales support and familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
Responsibilities
· Sales Support
o Assist the sales team in preparing customer documentation, financing documents, credit approvals and order submissions
o Coordination between sales representatives, customers, and internal departments to ensure seamless information flow.
o Provide administrative support to sales representatives and customers, schedule appointments, manage calendars, and handle account inquiries
· Order Processing
o Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant information is documented and communicated to the appropriate teams.
o Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to update sales representatives and customers regarding order status
· Customer Relations
o Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing timely and accurate information
o Assist in maintaining positive relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service
· Documentation and Record Keeping
o Maintain organized and up-to-date records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and other relevant documentation
o Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all documentation processes
· Data Analysis and Reporting
o Compile and analyze sales data to generate reports for management, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
o Support the sales team with data-driven insights to enhance performance and achieve targets.
Requirements and Skills
· Previous experience in sales administration or similar role, preferably within the printer/copier leasing industry
· Proficient in Microsoft Suite with a high emphasis on Microsoft Excel
· Proficient in CRM systems
· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of sales processes and customer relationship management
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Proven experience in sales administration or a related field
