Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation/valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities - Key responsibilities of a Low Voltage apprentice consist of:
- Cable pulling and routing: Pulling and routing various types of low voltage cables (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic) through walls, ceilings, and floors as directed by the technician.
- Cable preparation: Stripping, terminating, and crimping cable ends according to industry standards.
- Installation assistance: Helping to install mounting hardware for cameras, access control panels, and other low voltage equipment.
- Labeling and organization: Properly labeling all cables and equipment to ensure system clarity.
- Site preparation: Cleaning and prepping work areas, including drilling holes for cable runs.
- Tool handling: Properly using basic hand tools like wire strippers, crimpers, cable cutters, and drills.
- Basic troubleshooting: Identifying and reporting potential issues with cable runs or installations.
Experience
- Proven apprentice experience in low voltage installation or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in using hand tools and testing devices relevant to low voltage work is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
