We are currently seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Rensselaer County Jail in Troy, NY. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your clinical skills in a unique and challenging environment.
**Compensation and Benefits**
This part-time position requires up to 8 hours of on-site dental care per week, Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Hourly compensation is negotiable and commensurate based on experience, with a rate range of $30-$35 per hour.
In addition to competitive pay, we offer company-paid malpractice liability insurance (including tail) and a part-time PTO & Sick Leave package.
**Job Requirements**
- Must have either an associate's or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited college or university
- Licensed dental hygienist in the State of New York
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop trusting relationships with patients/inmates
- Ability to monitor, observe, and document patients' progress
