What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Development Specialist / Instructional Coach position at Professional Contract Services?
East Valley JR/SR High Charter school looking for a part-time Instructional Coach to assist a 7-12th grade charter school implement common formative assessments and steer data-driven instruction.
The instructional coach will be well-versed in all aspects of AZ State Assessment, including AASA, ACT Aspire and ACT testing.
_ Key Responsibilities:_
Instructional Support:
- Model effective teaching practices and strategies.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, differentiation, and assessment.
- Provide feedback on classroom observations and instruction.
- Support teachers in using data to inform instruction.
- Help teachers implement evidence-based practices.
- Help facilitate professional development and learning opportunities.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and meetings.
- Maintain open communication and build strong relationships with teachers and administration.
Data Analysis and Improvement:
- Analyze student data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement coaching plans based on data and needs.
- Track and monitor teacher progress and student outcomes.
Professional Development:
- Design and deliver professional development sessions on various topics.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in education, especially as it relates to Arizona State assessments, including ACT.
- Model effective instructional practices and strategies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
