We are currently hiring for a full-time position in the Human Services field, providing case management and therapeutic interventions to families in Huron, Lapeer, Tuscola and Sanilac Counties for families that may have an open DHHS case or at risk or removal due to various reasons. This is your chance to change the outcome of a family or child’s life! Interventions you could provide include budgeting, employment seeking, applying for benefits, parenting education and modeling, evidence-based solution focused brief therapy, safety planning, chore and structure/routine development, mental health needs, and home hygiene. Your position offers a flexible schedule, access to free Human Services training, individual and group supervision and relationship building with other service providers in the community.
Your position entails a combination of in-person and remote work, with the ability to set some of your own schedule. You will work with a maximum of six families for three face-to-face hours each week, along with travel and documentation. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services field (Social Work degree preferred.) Flexibility is essential, organization with scheduling is key, and the ability to work occasional evenings. Life is short, work somewhere you will love. Mileage reimbursement and some phone reimbursement is provided.
