PDS is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator & Client Support Technician to join our team, serving clients in Sheridan, WY, and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a proactive and client-focused IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values a servant-hearted approach to technology and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote IT support for business clients.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networks, servers, and workstations.
Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Deploy and manage network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
Implement and support cloud and hybrid IT environments.
Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
Document issues, resolutions, and best practices in a ticketing system.
Educate and support clients on IT best practices and security awareness.
Minimum Requirements:
3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or networking.
Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
Experience with networking concepts (firewalls, routers, VLANs, VPNs).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client environments.
Willingness to travel locally to client sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required but a Plus):
IT certifications such as CompTIA Network , Security , CCNA, or Microsoft certifications.
Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of VoIP systems and network security solutions.
Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools used in Managed Services environments.
