We are seeking a full-time BC / BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Care : Provide timely and expert medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
- Emergency Procedures : Perform and supervise emergency procedures, including intubation, central line placement, and trauma resuscitation, as needed.
- Collaborative Care : Collaborate with nurses, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Clinical Leadership : Provide clinical leadership and support to the healthcare team, including medical residents and students, to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Patient Education : Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Quality Improvement : Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, streamline processes, and optimize patient satisfaction.
- Emergency Department Operations : Collaborate with the ED leadership team to ensure efficient operations, including managing patient flow, triage, and resource utilization.
- Compliance : Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and hospital policies to ensure compliance and patient safety.
