What You’ll Do:
Full-Cycle Accounting & Oversight
Lead daily accounting operations across multiple client accounts
Step in with bookkeeping support as needed (sales/use tax, reconciliations, etc.)
Train internal teams and client-side staff on accounting best practices
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and review accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements
Deliver insights through financial models, KPIs, and client-facing reports
Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Client Engagement
Serve as the go-to financial partner for clients across industries
Offer tailored recommendations to help clients grow and stay compliant
Build long-term relationships through trust, performance, and communication
Audit & Compliance
Coordinate audit prep and respond to auditor requests
Ensure clients meet local, state, and federal compliance standards
Maintain strong internal controls and segregation of duties
Leadership & Accountability
Mentor staff accountants and promote professional growth
Take ownership of time management and deliverables in a hybrid work environment
Track and meet billable hour targets with integrity
What You’ll Need:
CPA license (active) – required
5 years of accounting experience, ideally with construction and real estate clients
QuickBooks Sage 300 CRE (or similar construction-focused platforms)
Experience with K-1s, budgeting, and full-cycle accounting
Strong communication skills, professional presence, and ethical accountability
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid setup (4 remote / 1 in-office)
