Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our Night Shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications. You will work primarily in a manufacturing warehouse setting, utilizing various welding techniques and power tools to ensure high-quality fabrication and adherence to industry codes and standards. Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate metal structures using various welding techniques, including GMAW/MIG
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Build and assemble components with precision, ensuring alignment and fit
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as welding machines, brakes, shears, flame cutters, grinder, iron worker, and drill presses.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards
- Must be proficient in welding processes, including GMAW/MIG welding.
- Familiarity with the use of measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Experience with power tools and equipment relevant to metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Will have to take multiple test. 3G and a 4G dual shield Flux core .052 tests. Also multiple 10G sheet metal test. Flat, vertical, and overhead. With .035 hardwire.
Work Schedule:
Mon - Thurs 3:00pm - 1:30am and Fri 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Will be required to work some Saturdays
Pay:
$24-$29 hour depending on experience
