About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Safety Manager to oversee and enforce safety protocols across multiple construction sites. This role involves developing and implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, delivering training, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Safety Manager will work closely with project teams to promote a strong culture of safety and risk prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Implement Safety Programs – Establish comprehensive safety protocols to ensure compliance across all projects.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all employees and subcontractors adhere to OSHA standards and industry regulations.
- Site Inspections & Risk Assessments – Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting – Analyze accidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and develop preventive measures.
- Safety Training & Certification – Provide ongoing training on safety procedures, equipment usage, and emergency response.
- Safety Culture & Communication – Collaborate with all levels of management and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and safety performance metrics.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Board-Certified Safety Professional
- CSP with 4 years of relevant construction safety experience, OR
- ASP, GSP, or SMS with 6 years of experience, OR
- CHST or OHST with 8 years of experience.
- OSHA 500 Certification (Current)
- CPR, First Aid & AED Certification (Red Cross or equivalent)
- FMCSA-Compliant Drug & Alcohol Training (2-hour supervisory course)
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction safety & field management
- Proficiency in safety training & incident investigation
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with Procore preferred but not required

Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
