Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize CAD software to produce bridge concept exhibits, working drawings and final construction plans, with ability to use the drafting tools to their full capabilities.
- Communicates and coordinates with Team Lead, Project Managers and Engineers to complete drafting tasks on numerous projects.
- Gathers, manipulates, organizes, archives and retrieves project information in a repeatable and efficient manner.
- Retains knowledge and builds on previous experiences to increase capabilities and productivity, focusing on standardizing practices to increase efficiencies.
- Ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments.
- Reviews project submittals for compliance with drafting standards.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of CAD production software.
- Familiarity with Microstation/Bentley design products and DOT formats is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand plans.
- Understanding of conventional field surveys, notes and processing of electronic field data is preferred.
- Meet and understand critical deadlines through efficient time management.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
