What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Professional Eyecare Center?
Professional Eyecare Center is seeking an organized, energetic individual to be our next medical assistant, serving as an ophthalmic assistant/technician. Preference will be given to a COA (certified ophthalmic assistant) or COT (certified ophthalmic technician). Duties include rooming patients, special testing, contact lens teaching, as well as other office duties (answering phones, scheduling, confirming appointments).
Experience is preferred, and strong computer skills are required. Competitive compensation available including a group healthcare plan and optional retirement plan.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
