Overview:
We are seeking an Access Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, electrical work, and computer networking. Duties:
- Install and program access control devices, (Mag locks, contacts, door strikes, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair access control equipment
- Collaborate with team members on system upgrades and enhancements
- Provide technical support to end-users on system operation
- Document all work performed in accordance with company procedures
Requirements:
- Knowledge of NEC codes and standards
- Mechanical knowledge for system installation and maintenance
- Experience as a service technician or in field service roles
- Possession of relevant certificates in access control systems
- Proficiency in computer networking for system integration
- Strong electrical skills to handle wiring and connections
- Ability to detect and resolve system issues promptly
- Capability to build and configure access control systems efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
