What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Alarm Helper position at Professional Fire & Security, LLC?
Overview:
We are looking for fire alarm installation helpers to help install commercial fire alarm systems. Experience in low construction or low voltage is preferred, but not required.
Duties:
- Run various types of wire in new building and renovation environments
- Install fire alarm devices in accordance with provided prints
- Work along side other trades to complete construction projects
- Help install and test fire alarm systems
- Troubleshoot and repair fire protection equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards
Requirements:
- Be able to stand, kneel, climb ladders for an extended period of time
- Be able to work well with others
- Experience in service technician or field service roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with fire alarms and electrical work is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
