Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Professional Fleet Services. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems, ensuring the reliability and performance of fleet vehicles. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles, including oil changes and inspections.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle status.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in automotive repair.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, air brakes, and HVAC systems is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for the position.

Pay: $58,359.00 - $63,137.00 per year
