tango is a leader in the home care health management industry and is preparing for significant growth! We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team.
The QA Engineer serves an important role in our fast-paced environment. We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with extensive experience in REST API automation testing and load/performance testing. In this role, you will be responsible for creating automated tests for our APIs, ensuring high-quality and scalable services, and conducting performance/load testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the QA Engineer within an Agile team framework.
- Validates test data directly on UI and through API's using Postman.
- Executes test cases and record results properly to include screenshots, defect management.
- Aligns test schedules to meet project timeline testing expectations.
- Develop and execute automated tests for REST APIs using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, and SoapUI.
- Ability to write and optimize SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and JOIN queries across multiple tables.
- Ability to test stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Perform load and stress testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
- Work with developers to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Monitor system performance using tools like Azure Devops, Grafana and Prometheus.
- Integrate API automation and load tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Analyze and report test results, highlighting issues and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience as QA engineer
- Minimum 5 years of experience in API, data, & performance testing
- Experience with version control, defect tracking and test management tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL database.
- Work experience with offshore team is a big plus.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Detailed oriented person with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
