Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional customer service to our clients and patients. This role requires proficiency in office management and administrative tasks, as well as familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Duties
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently in the system.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar .
- Assist billing department obtaining missing insurance.
- Assist with administrative tasks.
- Support the office team with any additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Proficient in office management and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of medical terminology including ICD-10 coding is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to type efficiently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service .
