What are the responsibilities and job description for the APRN, Long Term Care Setting position at Professional Healthcare of Pinellas?
Professional Health Care of Pinellas is seeking a friendly, energetic APRN to join our team providing care to patients in Long Term Care settings. PHC is owned locally by physicians and has been serving the Pinellas County community since 1997. The Nurse Practitioner practices as part of a collaborative team to provide a comprehensive, coordinated model of care to a mostly Medicare-aged population. Primarily manages the geriatric – aged population whether in the presence of, or in conjunction with the Primary Care Physician. Acts as an extension of the Primary Care Physician to provide care to our patients. This position does require daily travel to facilities in Pinellas County.
Requirements: MSN with Florida APRN license. Prefer related APRN experience. Prefer DEA license. BLS required. Must have experience with EMR systems, prefer eClinicalWorks experience. Must be flexible to see patients in a variety of settings. Strong Interpersonal skills, good judgment, organized, takes initiative, attention to detail, documentation skills, positive attitude/works well with the team and Service Excellence skills.
