We utilize a patient centric approach and require individuals on our team to share and embrace that same passion with the goal of providing referral worthy care. Better hearing and a better quality of life for individuals living with hearing loss can be accomplished with the help of the right hearing professional.
Responsibilities & Duties :
- Professional interaction with patients & physicians
- Working with staff to meet or exceed office goals
- Examine patients to assess hearing needs using diagnostic testing and consultative skills
- Educate patients on their hearing issues and demonstrate compassion in helping improve the quality of life
- Knowledgeable of different hearing aid products offering the latest technology and accessories
- Identify the best solution taking the patient’s needs and concerns into account
- Counsel and educate patients and family members regarding communication, prevention of hearing loss, and more
- Precision, caution, and compassion in using
- A handheld otoscope to examine the ear anatomy
- A hearing booth using insert earphones / bone conduction headsets
- Taking ear impressions
- Other tasks as necessary to perform a thorough examination
- Measuring, fitting, dispensing, and repairing hearing devices and earmolds
- Evaluate and follow up with patients to provide appropriate aftercare such as cleaning, maintenance, and repair of devices
- Recording any all developments electronically in the chart
- Host outreach events
- Participate in written, online, and other form of marketing campaigns
- Assist in growing the practice
