Professional Home Health Care is seeking an amazing Secretary for our Customer Relationship / Intake Department. Assistant to the marketing / intake manager. This is a excellent opportunity for those with exceptional telephone, customer service, computer, data entry, and organizational skills.
This position reports directly to the manager and includes duties as a direct assistant to the manager.
The Perfect Candidate is
- Warm, outgoing, authentic, and both passionate and compassionate on the phone with out clients. Must have superior telephone skills and speaking voice.
- Has above average computer data entry speed and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook; and able to learn our software quickly. The work is fast-paced.
- Able to multitask.
- Professional, flexible, responsible, team oriented, and trustworthy.
- Has persuasive customer service skills through active listening, empathy, positive language, and problem solving.
- A quick learner who is self-motivated and can work independently to achieve results with your powerful critical thinking skills.
- Experienced - At least 1 year home health care intake experience preferred but not required. Experience in home health care scheduling or related field preferred.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work in our office in Wheat Ridge from 8-5, M-F.
- Answer intake and referral telephone calls
- Monitor and accept referrals from company’s online referral sources
- Import and enter data for referrals into our computer system
- Accurately organize and manage referral information electronically
- Call potential clients, referral sources, physicians, and our field staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources by exceeding their expectations
- Speak with clients, referral sources, and staff to schedule first assessment visit in the client's home
- Obtain physician orders for new clients
- Communicate with manager, nursing supervisor, scheduler, data entry, and staff
- Be backup scheduler when Scheduler is on vacation
- Other office secretarial duties as assigned
