Visiting Nurse

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Visiting Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring they receive the necessary medical attention and support. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in various settings.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients in their home environment.
• Administer treatments as prescribed
• Provide care for patients requiring specialized interventions such as catheter replacement, wound care.
• Perform triage duties to prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and rehabilitation processes.
• Monitor vital signs and overall patient condition to identify any changes that may require immediate attention.

Experience

• Previous experience in a nursing role
• Familiarity with advanced nursing procedures is a plus.
• Strong background in patient care practices, including triage and assessment skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective communication with healthcare teams and family members.
• A valid nursing license is required, along with any additional certifications relevant to specialized treatments or procedures.

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
