Front Desk Associate (Medical Receptionist):
We are currently looking for a full-time Front Desk Associate (Medical Receptionist). The hours are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm

Professional Imaging is a privately owned and operated diagnostic imaging center. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care by offering affordable state of the art medical imaging in a patient friendly environment. Our focus is to provide exceptional patient-centered care with expert radiology services.
We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and well-organized individual to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will work at the front desk of our medical office and provide assistance to our patients and other visitors.
You will be responsible for corresponding with patients, maintaining the organization of our office, and ensuring that our environment is welcoming, calm, and efficiently run for our patients and their families.
Front Desk Associate Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, vendors, and other visitors to our medical office
- Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
- Field all phone calls that arrive using our general office number
- Respond to emails that arrive using our general office email address
- Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
- Register new patients and update necessary records
- Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately
- Process bills, invoices, and patient payments in office
- Process medical records and billing requests from outside facilities and send the necessary documents via the appropriate route in a timely manner
- Generate daily reports and send to referring offices as requested
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records
- Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming
- Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner
Front Desk Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certificate program preferred
- 1 years of experience working in customer service or in a relevant role
- Friendly and compassionate disposition
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records
- Ability to use MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Self-starter who takes initiative in a fast-paced work environment
