Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Salary: $45.00/hr.
Schedule: Hybrid model (remote and office) 1-2x a month
The Clinical Quality Consultant is responsible for overseeing the quality improvement activities/projects as outlined in the Quality Improvement (QI) work plan and as required by applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards for Indiana Medicaid.
How you will make an impact:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assists the plan with readiness and QI projects for the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey.
- Assists the plan with projects and initiatives surrounding NCQA LTSS Distinction including quality committee oversight and documentation, reporting, and /or file reviews.
- Assures accuracy and completeness of input provided to internal and external QI committees and timely implementation of appropriate interventions.
- Assures compliance with corporate QI work plans.
- Assists with Quality Owned regulatory reports.
- Provides oversight to ensure accurate and complete quantitative analysis of clinical data and presentation of results.
- Performs assessments to identify gaps in the enterprise's quality and technology assessment processes and initiates actions to correct these gaps.
- Assists with data and documentation of the clinical quality improvement activities/projects to implement appropriate clinical interventions to improve the quality of care for members.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BS in health administration, nursing, or related clinical field; 3 years of health care quality or data analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Administrative and organizational skills are required.
- Data analytic skills and experience with Excel is required.
- Managed Care Quality Experience preferred.
- NCQA Accreditation experience is preferred.
- CAHPS experience is preferred
- HEDIS experience is preferred.
- Technical writing experience is preferred.
