We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various structures through expert painting techniques. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Interpret and follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate application of colors and finishes.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting or related fields.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and climbing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
