We are looking for a Plumbing Scheduler to join our team and ensure the seamless scheduling and coordination of plumbing jobs to support our technicians and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule plumbing jobs efficiently, matching technician availability and skill sets to job requirements.
- Plan and communicate daily schedules to technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate emergency calls, cancellations, or changes in job priorities.
- Customer Communication:
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and online requests to schedule plumbing appointments.
- Provide customers with accurate service windows and regular updates on their scheduled jobs.
- Address customer concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration:
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, and the operations team during the workday.
- Communicate job details clearly to technicians and ensure they have the resources needed to complete each job.
- Work closely with other departments, including dispatch and management, to streamline workflow.
- Administrative Support:
- Use our scheduling software to input, update, and maintain accurate records of scheduled jobs and technician assignments.
- Track job progress and ensure completion updates are communicated to the team and customers.
- Generate reports on job status, technician productivity, and scheduling efficiency.
- Efficiency and Optimization:
- Optimize technician routes to minimize travel time and maximize productivity.
- Coordinate parts and materials needed for scheduled jobs, ensuring timely availability.
- Monitor and proactively resolve any scheduling conflicts or delays.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience in a scheduling, dispatching, or coordination role, ideally in the plumbing or home services industry.
- Experience with Service Titan platform is very helpful.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and ability to manage last-minute changes.
