Water meter replacements. Go to customers' residential and/or commercial locations and change out the water meter for new equipment.
Water Meter Installer position available project changing out water meter equipment. Need strongly self-motivated people to work independently, going from location to location and making changes. You will receive the locations daily and use a company vehicle and phone to work your route. You will collect data and some software/hardware upgrades and sometimes interact directly with residents.
Skills needed: Independent worker, self-motivated, mechanically inclined, fast learner, will train on meter equipment replacement and data collection. You will need transportation to and from the work yard to pick up the company vehicle, your own cordless drill, a clean driving record, and be insurable. You will have direct contact with customers daily, so a helpful attitude and a neat, clean appearance are required.

Professional Meters, Inc. (PMI) is a nationwide meter installation company with a professional work environment looking for:
Responsibilities:
- Removal and replacement of water meter register and transmitter
- Collecting and validating installation data using an app on a handheld device.
- Treating all customers, coworkers, and properties with courtesy and respect.
- Keeping your assigned vehicle clean and in good working order.
- Ensuring the safety and security of all tools and equipment assigned to you
- Arriving at assigned remote work locations to pick up your company vehicle to perform your daily work assignments in a timely manner.
- Accuracy in data collection for each site/account visited
Requirements:
- Must be Independent, Self Motivated, and Detail Oriented
- Possess a High School diploma, GED, or have equivalent work experience
- Must be willing and able to work outdoors - in all types of weather
- *Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and be insurable
- Dependable, have good verbal skills, and a neat/clean appearance
- Have the ability to use assigned tools properly and work within safety guidelines
- Comfortable interacting with customers and being quality-oriented
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Able to handle a physical job
- Committed to the Job for the duration of the contract
- Must be able to work with Bluetooth and other wireless connection methods
- Some Technology experience preferred
PMI will provide all training, including Water register replacement, data collection with an app installed on provided company phone, and pairing/programming newly installed hardware. PMI will also provide the company vehicle, fuel, and tools required.

Pay: $50.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
