At Professional Nursing Services, Inc, our mission is to provide the highest quality of care with compassion. Private-duty nursing means that patients are able to live at home longer, often surrounded by family members and familiar surroundings.
We are searching for a compassionate and mature Nursing Assistant in the Phoenixville area for a part-time position every Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm, or 8am-6pm. The client is a sweet, 68 year old female who has dementia and Down's Syndrome. She moves slow, but is ambulatory and loves to watch TV, and interact with her caregivers. The ideal candidate must approach the client with kindness and patience. She lives with her sister other supportive family members, who work outside the home. Having dependable caregivers is a MUST!
Essential Functions:
- Assist patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing & meal prep
- Use safety measures to prevent falls
- Help the patient as needed with pre-poured medications, laundry, bed-making
- Accurately documents in flowsheet and narrative note on a daily basis.
- Notifies the family and management of any concerns.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
