IMMEDIATE Homecare OPENING: Pottstown Thursday's, Saturday's and Sunday's 7a-7p. Some PRN Tuesday's will be available as well.
Work 1, 2 or 3 (12 hour) shifts per week!
The client is a young adult who needs ongoing assistance with all ADL's. She has a smile that brightens the room and has no behavioral issues. She is able to ambulate with the use of a gait belt. She loves music and looking through pictures of family and friends. The nurse must perform careful neuro assessments, as this client has a seizure disorder.
This is an established case in a safe neighborhood.
Essential Functions:
- Follow the nursing process in all areas of patient care.
- Fall seizure and aspiration precautions.
- Uses established seizure protocols for seizure management as written by the neurologists.
- Accurately documents assessments, treatments, and interventions.
- Notifies the family and management of any concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid, active Pennsylvania RN License
- Current CPR (or be willing to take a class)
- 1 year experience post-graduation strongly preferred
- Seizure management experience helpful.
Work with one client all day and be the nurse you learned to be in nursing school.
