Office Engineer – Commercial Construction
Position Overview : The Office Engineer supports the project team in the successful execution of commercial construction projects by managing project documentation, coordinating communication, and ensuring efficient operations. This role serves as a critical link between the field, office, subcontractors, and clients to maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Documentation and Administration :
Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules.
- Prepare, distribute, and track project correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and project requirements.
Coordination and Communication :
Serve as a liaison between project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Cost Management :
Assist in preparing and maintaining project budgets and forecasts.
Quality and Compliance :
Ensure that project documents and processes comply with company policies, contract terms, and regulatory requirements.
Scheduling Support :
Update and maintain project schedules in coordination with the project management team.
Technology and Software Management :
Utilize project management software to track progress, manage documentation, and streamline communication.
Field Support :
Conduct site visits as needed to support the project team.
