Job Title : HVAC Pipefitter (Brazing Specialist)
Location : El Mirage, AZ
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Pipefitter with expertise in brazing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The role requires proficiency in brazing techniques to ensure leak-free and durable connections in pressurized systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, fit, and assemble pipes, fittings, and equipment for HVAC systems, including refrigerant and gas lines.
- Perform brazing and soldering tasks to create durable, high-quality joints in copper and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan pipe layouts and installations.
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand tools, pipe cutters, and pipe-bending equipment.
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure testing equipment and perform necessary repairs.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with building codes and regulations in all work performed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials required for pipefitting and brazing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in existing HVAC piping systems and recommend effective solutions.
