Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership and Team Coordination:
- Lead and mentor a team of architects, designers, and consultants through all phases of design, documentation, and construction.
- Foster a collaborative work environment to ensure effective communication and coordination among team members.
- Set clear goals, expectations, and deliverables, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Design Development and Documentation:
- Develop detailed construction documents with a high level of precision using Revit and AutoCAD
- Oversee the development and review of building plans and specifications, ensuring adherence to all applicable ordinances, building codes, and office standards.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of construction documents produced in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Provide design direction and solutions that align with client expectations and project objectives.
- Project Scheduling and Resource Management:
- Schedule and track projects in alignment with contractual obligations, client needs, and resource availability.
- Coordinate project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Anticipate and mitigate project risks by proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing solutions.
- Construction Administration and Compliance:
- Monitor construction progress for compliance with contract documents and design intent.
- Conduct site visits and issue reports or supplemental information as necessary.
- Review RFIs, submittals, and change orders, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Client Engagement and Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring clear communication of project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project success.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, presentations, and project negotiations.
- Professional Architectural Degree required (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture).
- 10 years of experience in commercial and industrial projects.
- Licensure Preferred (Licensed Architect).
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a passion for technology-driven practice and innovative design solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
