Job Description
- Contact our new clients to obtain medical details, what injuries were sustained, what treatment, who treated, which facilities, contact information.
- Send out authorizations, HIPAA’s and making sure to follow up.
- Requesting medical and billing records from records service every 60-90 days.
- Setting up clients with providers and necessary medical treatment (Ortho, PT, Chiro, PM, Surgery, TBI’s, Radiology, 2nd opinions, etc.).
- Providing clients, with their appointment details. Following up with clients to make sure they are treating with our providers and not missing appointments. And reschedule missed, no-show appts.
- Send out LOP’s and request informal records from facilities.
- Saving all reports coming in from our record services.
- Preparing and producing records via NOF (redact, bates, e-file and produce).
- Request and review estimates and deposits for medical procedures.
- Coordinate appts with clients and experts.
- Provide experts with all medical records.
- Calculate medical balances for each client.
- Handle all medical reductions once case is settled.
- Verify all balances from all vendors, experts including any liens and obtaining all Tax Id numbers.
- Determine lien amounts.
- Scan and save all medical records and billing received via US mail.
- Save all medical and billing received via fax.
- Respond to all client emails, text and phone calls in a timely manner including vendors and providers.
- Insurance matters such as sending LORs, preparing demands, communications with insurance companies, etc.
- Coordinate expert depositions.
Salary : $65,000
