Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and repairing minor drywall and stucco damage.
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings using sprayers, rollers, and brushes for a smooth and even finish.
- Properly tape and mask areas to protect surfaces from overspray or unintended paint coverage.
- Mix and match paints to achieve the correct color and finish.
- Inspect work areas for quality control and ensure proper cleanup after completion.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure job expectations are met.
- Proven experience as a residential painter, with expertise in spraying, rolling, cutting-in, taping, masking, and prepping surfaces.
- Knowledge of minor drywall and stucco repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physical ability to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
