Ultrasound Technologist - Bethesda, MD

WORK HOURS: All Shifts Available - Full time / Part time / PRN - 7 days a week!

Location: Walter Reed National Military Medical Center

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team and provide high-quality diagnostic services at our 24/7 facility. This role involves a range of ultrasound imaging procedures, patient care, and active collaboration with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive ultrasound procedures across various specialties, including abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, pediatric, and more.
• Support interventional procedures in the radiology department and other clinical areas.
• Operate Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for imaging review, alignment, and quality control.
• Ensure patient safety, provide procedure guidance, and maintain infection control protocols.
• Train and oversee students, new technologists, and residents in ultrasound technology.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an ultrasound program recommended by ARDMS.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years, including 1 year in a hospital setting (exemption available for qualified students).
• Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), CPR, and familiarity with PACS.
• Licensure: Valid, unrestricted license in the U.S.

Pay: $122,262.40 - $148,657.60 per year
