Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collections at various homes in Washington DC. You will provide exceptional patient service while adhering to strict laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques. The ideal candidates will possess a strong knowledge of anatomy and laboratory techniques, ensuring accurate and efficient specimen collection processing. The phlebotomist must have 2 years in experience. (No exceptions)
House calls are in Washington DC
Responsibilities
- Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients in their homes.
- Utilize aseptic technique to ensure the safety and integrity of specimens collected.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and specimen details in compliance with laboratory protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and service delivery.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks associated with blood collection procedures.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns and ensuring a comfortable experience during the collection process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in laboratory procedures and techniques related to phlebotomy.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to blood sampling.
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing methods.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in various locations.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Certification in phlebotomy or related field is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
- 2 years of phlebotomy experience is required. (No exceptions)

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 60 per week
