The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes in both warehouse and construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve desired finishes.
- Operate power tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of materials.
- Follow safety protocols while working with chemicals and machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the painting process.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards.
- Perform maintenance on painting equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting or auto painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools and precision measuring instruments is essential.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
