What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Professional Plumbing Solutions?
This position would coordinate the accounts receivables/payables operation of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make entries in quickbooks.
- Reconcile all bank and cash accounts including inter-company accounts.
- Invoicing - Create & Check recurring and non recurring Invoices
- Renewing contracts on time and negotiating prices.
- Payroll check hours and tally time sheets for payroll.
- Checking invoices for accuracy and ensuring payments are made timely.
- Some HR duties assigned
- New Employee Paperwork
- Misc Office admin duties
Would like the prospective candidate to have a sound knowledge of accounting principles including QuickBooks. Some prior work experience is desired.
Qualifications
- General knowledge of accounting concepts and account reconciliation
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to prioritize workload to complete tasks timely and accurately
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of general accounting experience a plus
- Pass a criminal and financial background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
