What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pretrial Release Officer position at Professional Probation Services, Inc.?
- Verify defendant information and references and determine release eligibility
- Release qualified defendants before initial appearance
- Obtain CJIS certification
- Compile and present criminal background information to the court with recommendations for further possible release
- Supervise and monitor the progress of defendant compliance and enforce all conditions of release
- Participate and testify in court proceedings.
