What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Process Server- Washington County position at Professional Process Servers, Inc.?
We are presently seeking an additional process server to cover northern Waukesha County, Washington County, and Ozaukee County. Either one individual to cover all of these areas, or multiple part-time roles.
The main job of a process server is to deliver or serve legal documents to parties in a court case.
A potential process server must meet the following requirements:
- Personable and trustworthy
- Ability to work variable hours including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends during the same week at times. A flexible schedule would be key to this position.
- Have your own reliable transportation, driver's license, and car insurance
- Be computer savvy; our attempts and affidavits are all done on a computer or smart phone.
- Have access to a printer, computer, scanner, and smart phone
- Be at least 18 years old and a Wisconsin resident
- Able to pass a background check
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Having process serving experience is a plus
- Pay is per serve
