Key Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a Melt Shop environment with expertise in scrap metals, alloys, fluxes, refractory materials, and steelmaking chemistry.
- Proven leadership skills managing supervisors and hourly employees in a non-union environment.
- Strong background in EAF operations, power/burner programs, and casting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
- Strong budget management and financial planning abilities.
