Pay Range : $45 - $52 ST (OT Eligible)
Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enforce safety protocols on a large-scale solar farm project in Desert Center, CA . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar farm safety management , ensuring compliance with all regulatory and site-specific safety requirements. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity with competitive pay and overtime eligibility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections , audits, and hazard assessments.
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal / OSHA, and company safety standards .
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses , implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor and ensure proper use of PPE, fall protection, and other safety measures .
- Collaborate with construction managers, subcontractors, and site personnel to maintain safety standards.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation , including training records and incident reports.
- Interface with regulatory agencies and client representatives on safety compliance matters.
