Professional Safety Solutions, LLC is hiring an experienced Utility Heavy Civil Safety Advisor for a Substation project in San Diego, CA. Local candidates are preferred, not required.
Our Expectations:
Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role: where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, along with management, the Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe are expected to be a hands-on partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop an excellent safety culture.
Responsibilities:
- Daily documentation and communication of contractor safety progress
- Team coverage
- Incident investigations
- Weekly project and update meetings
- Pre-Con safety support
- Daily documentation of safety observations
Qualifications:
- 10 years of Civil/trenching utility safety experience
- Current CUSP required
- Substation construction safety experience
- Minimum of an OSHA 30
- Strong and positive communication skills and an understanding of the philosophy of positive safety culture development.
