Professional Search Group OC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their clients team! Our client is a rapidly growing start-up based in Orange, CA. They are experiencing a high volume of business and are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of invoices and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Xero, although candidates with QuickBooks Online experience will also be considered.
Accounts Payable Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Verify, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting as needed.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth processing of invoices and payments.
- Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed.
Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Xero is preferred; experience with QuickBooks Online is also acceptable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to start immediately and commit to onsite work in Orange, CA.
